The young man you see on this photo is a lawyer from Habro district of West Hararge. This guy recently made an important visit to the historical village of Soolee, Malka Balloo District, East Harargee Zone. 

What the young lawyer found in this village is astonishing; it is the old woman you see in the photo who had a vast knowledge of the history of the Oromo national movements of 1980s in East Hararge.

But that didn't capture my attention now. I decided to share this photo with you only for one reason. The woman on the photo was a wife of our beloved father Soolee Dagaagaa who sacrificed his life for the sake of Oromo struggle. 

Furthermore, the woman you see on the photo was a mother of three finest heroes who ignited the Oromo national libration struggle lead by WBO in Easten Oromia. 

All of her three stars sons were martyred in the struggle. Their names are

1. Hambisaa Soolee (Brigade Commander)

2. Dahoo Soolee (Battalion Commander)

3. Fayyoomsaa Soolee (Platoon Commander)

From among the three, Hambisaa Soolee was the most famous and revered hero who is still remembered by thousands for his extraordinary leadership, bravery and war skills.

 I have seen this distinguished hero in my hometown of Galamso in the period that encompassed from May 30/1991 to June 1992.

This "one in a million" hero was martyred in December 1992 at the small town of Sakina, Daro-Labu district, West Harerge Zone.
